Greetings: My name is Raymond L. Davis, Founder, Chairman/CEO of Genesis Network and Counseling Center, Inc. (GNCC), an Atlanta based 501c(3)non-profit organization celebrating 20 Years 1990-2010 of “Community Service to America” and the 2010 Dining Out REDD™ National Spokesman. On behalf of our Executive Directors, Officers, our Board and Ex-Officio Board Members, our Staff and most of all, our clients we have served across America dealing with Health issues from HIV/AIDS to Heart Disease and many other community and faith based initiatives and programs. For more info about Genesis and our 20 year journey, visit our new website under construction at www.genesis-network.org. You may visit my website at www.raymonddavis.com for a small bio and my 25th+ Silver Commemoration as an HIV/AIDS Survivor. My upcoming tell all autobiography, (I’m not telling you the name, yet, nor all the drama…LOL), scheduled to be released this summer 2010. The late Paul Harvey would say, “And now for the rest of the story”. Things I’ve wanted to say for 25+ years and answer that personally I have never shared with America. Politics has been apart of my life since I was about 7 or 8 years old. In 1997, I officially began my political career in Atlanta for City Council, District #3. As a candidate for City Council, I made HIV/AIDS a top priority and all health issues. I have always had other important issues during my public service life. On May 24, 2010, I will announce my bid to run for the United States Congress, House of Representatives, Georgia, 5th Congressional District. Visit my congressional website under construction at www.RaymondDavisforCongres.com.  I will become the first American to run for the US Congress disclosing having AIDS.

I am elated to have my big sister in ministry for all of my life, Gospel Recording Artist Babbie Mason, as the 2010 Spokeswoman for Dining Out REDD™. She’s known me all my life, both her and her husband Chuck Mason, has served as Ex-Officio Board Members for Genesis for 15 Years. Babbie does double duty as one of the Co-Spokesperson of the National Red Ribbon Campaign and Partnership’s Faith Based Initiative. (NRRCP) Please visit her website at www.Babbie.com for more information. God has blessed her with nearly a five-decade career in Gospel and Christian Contemporary Music, Author, TV Host, Stellar and Dove award nominee and winner, Grammy Nominee, Song Writer/Publisher, CEO of “Embrace”, (A women’s praise, worship and word conference), Founder, Mason Hill Music and Studio 1117, 2009 Gospel Choice recipient of the “Tomas A Dorsey Award”, Inductee of the 2010 Christian Music Hall of Fame and the 2010 Female Christian Vocalist and Inductee of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Her ministries have touched thousands of people across our great Nation and the World. As Founder, Chairman/CEO of Genesis, I personally thank her for relentless walk with me over my 25+ years of living with HIV and AIDS, always giving words of encouragement and prayers along the journey. Genesis is also proud to have one of our National program’s named the Babbie Mason School of Music and Performing Arts. Babbie has a scripture coming from the book of Jeremiah that is stated in every concert she performs and 29:11 reads, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” NIV

Dining Out REDD™ is a national benefit event for monthly, weekly, and individual days for Health Issues and diseases that have been officially recognized by the President of the United States of America, Secretary of Health and Human Services, the National Institute of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Almost two years ago, we at Genesis brainstormed for a way to bring back to the forefront of HIV/AIDS in combination with each and every health disease that infects or affects all of us as American’s. Heart Disease is the #1 killer of all Americans and Complications due to AIDS is the #2 killer of Americans.

We thank all American’s for their support from around the Nation. It may be in New York City, at a Casino in Las Vegas, a nightclub in Los Angeles or San Francisco, fine Restaurants in South Beach, Miami, FL, a bar in Billings, MT, getting chilled in the Dakota’s, serving up  Margaritas in Texas or New Mexico;  A little spot in Chicago, shivering from the cold, a proposal of marriage in Vermont, Iowa, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Hawaii and maybe soon in DC, where the President and First Lady maybe hanging out for a little lovely night, prestigious restaurants in Atlanta, good old southern cooking from Alabama to Mississippi, getting Cajun or French in New Orleans, a sunny day in Seattle, a rainy night in Georgia, Cheese Steaks from Philly, and so many unique cities filled with great traditional food cooked for hundreds of year’s and now apart of America somewhere, be HEART Healthy.

Dining out REDD™ purpose is to involve all restaurants, nightclubs and bars to help curve American’s overall quality of life which pertains mostly with our eating habits and our health. Many diseases we hear about each and everyday but there are thousands of healthcare issues we never heard of before unless it happens to ourselves, families or friends. Folic Acid is a disease that I had never heard of until just a few days ago. The places that many American’s frequent often which ultimately leads as a major part of our overall healthcare, which includes not only our physical health but our mental and spiritual health. We invite you to become an Individual Partner, Proud Sponsor or Major Sponsor for Dining Out REDD™. We are pleading with the Private, Fortune 500 Corporations and the entire business sector to reach out and help us win the war against HIV disease that is almost 29 years old.  It’s now the 21st Century, and we’ve entered into the second decade and HIV/AIDS is still full of stigmatism, homophobia, based on gender, and can you believe even race?  Haven’t we been there before in the 20th Century? HIV/AIDS is an equal opportunity disease. Whether you’re Black, White, Asian, Latino, Caribbean, or American Native Indian, it’s infecting us all. Dining Out REDD™ will make it a top priority to focus on every healthcare issue that we can that is infecting Americans and affecting lives all around the World.
